Every product in our range is produced to strict purity standards for legitimate scientific investigation.

All Epigen peptides are verified at 99%+ purity. We don’t round up, and we don’t stock product that doesn’t meet that threshold. Purity isn’t a marketing number for us; it’s the minimum standard for research integrity.

All stock is held under refrigerated conditions from the moment it enters our facility. Temperature excursions at any point in the chain compromise compound stability; which is why we treat storage as non-negotiable, not optional.

The compounds we stock are not scheduled substances under South African law and are legal to purchase for legitimate research and laboratory purposes.

However, it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations in their specific jurisdiction and institution. When in doubt, consult your institutional compliance officer.

Payments & Shipping

Browse our peptide range, add your chosen compounds to cart, and check out securely. We accept payment via PayFast, which supports all major South African banks and cards. Pricing is in ZAR; no foreign currency conversions, no hidden fees.

Most orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours of payment confirmation. Delivery to major centers is typically 1–3 business days. Remote areas may take slightly longer. You’ll receive a updates via the email the account was registered to make the purchase, as soon as your order leaves our facility.

Yes. All transactions are processed through PayFast, a PCI-DSS compliant South African payment gateway. Epigen does not store card details. Your financial information never passes through our servers.

Due to the nature of our products — research-grade, temperature-controlled compounds — we do not accept returns on opened or used vials under any circumstances. Once a product leaves our cold chain and enters your facility, we have no way of verifying storage conditions or compound integrity. This is not a policy we flex on; it exists to protect the integrity of every researcher who orders from us.

If your order arrives with visible damage to packaging, vial integrity, or evidence of a cold chain failure in transit, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will investigate with our courier and, where the fault is clearly on our end or the courier’s, we will replace the affected product at no cost to you. Claims submitted outside the 24-hour window cannot be processed — document everything the moment your order arrives.

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only. Once your order has been picked, packed, and handed to our courier, cancellation is no longer possible. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately after placing your order — the sooner you reach us, the better the chances of catching it in time.

Research peptides are synthetic compounds studied for their biological mechanisms — they have not completed the clinical trial process required for SAHPRA approval as human therapeutics. Selling them as anything other than research compounds would be both inaccurate and irresponsible. The designation exists for a reason, and we stand behind it. After purchase it is the responsibility of the buyer.

No prescription is required for research-use peptides in South Africa. However, any application of these compounds outside of a research context — including self-administration — may require medical oversight and falls entirely outside our scope of supply. We are a research supplier, not a compounding pharmacy.
